Volunteer Cypress Hills Celebrates Our Volunteers

WCH is very fortunate to have wonderful volunteers. Our volunteers support our teachers and students, work to raise funds for our school, sponsor special student activities and make West Cypress Hills a great place to teach and learn! We've only been in school for 6 weeks and our volunteers have logged more than 1500 hours of service to our school!

Last year we started the tradition of naming a WCHE Volunteer of the Month and we're continuing the tradition this school year. Our staff members nominate volunteers for this honor, giving us all an opportunity to recognize them for some of the ways that they help our school. Today we want to recognize some very special volunteers for their ongoing support of our staff, parents and students.

Our Volunteer of the Month for August is Suzanne Kelbaugh (picture below- left) and our Volunteer of the Month for September is Jessica Walker (pictured below- right). We want to thank these wonderful ladies for their service and dedication to WCHE. Please click here for more information regarding these wonderful volunteers.

They are excited to greet you and their fellow students each morning. Please pull forward to the first available cone, be mindful of our crosswalk and stay alert (no cell phone use in a school zone). If you would like to park and walk your child to school, please utilize the front or rear parking lots and only park in designated parking spaces. We appreciate your support in keeping our students safe during arrival and dismissal. Please click here for our Arrival/Dismissal map.
