Davenport's Weekly Update
Week of August 28th, 2022
MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
“A smile is the universal welcome.” - Max Eastman
Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! We hope you were able to enjoy your summer vacation with family and friends! We are looking forward to greeting your child on September 6th to being our District Mission to Embrace, Engage, and Educate your child. Whether your child has been a part of our Davenport School Family or if this is your child’s first year with us, it is with great enthusiasm that we welcome them to Davenport for a productive learning year!
Our 22-23 Renaissance Character Education Theme is “Ohana” which means family in Hawaiian. It focuses on rewarding and acknowledging students for positive behaviors, academic achievement, and good citizenship. We are happy to have you and your child as members of our Ohana: Davenport Family; "Family Sticks Together"! We look forward to partnering with you, your child, and the community to meet the needs of our students.
