DISCLAIMER NOT ALL OF OUR TOOLS ARE LISTED, it didn't save, we are sorry, but we have all of the materials we need in our survival kit.

How To Get Water From Soil!

1. Dig a hole (not in the shade, about 19 inches deep)

2. Put in plant leaves

3. Put a cup in the hole

4. Put plastic wrap over the top so it seals the entire hole

5. Put a rock on top of the plastic over the cup

6. Wait for the sun to evaporate the water

Malaria

We are going to bring a mosquito net. It is like thin cloth that keeps the mosquitos out, which prevents malaria.

Libyan Desert Facts

The Libyan desert is barely populated. It is stony with sandy dunes. Located North and East of the Sahara Desert. It has mountains and sand seas. It has a variety of landscapes.

Average of the week of Jan. 6-13 2016 was seventy two degrees fahrenheit.

The average precipitation is 0%

Hatchet

A hatchet is a helpful thing to have in any wilderness, but in our case,
  • You can use it to fend off scorpions, and evil camels!
  • You can chop down fire wood with it
  • And cutting down cacti

A Splint

1. Care for wounds before applying

2. Don't change the position of the body as much as possible

3. Find something sturdy to prevent the hurt limb from moving, Then attach it to your arm by using the cloth in your survivor kit

4. Check frequently for swelling, paleness, or if it is numb.

BE CAREFUL AND MAKE SURE NOT TO MOVE IT ALOT AND BE EASY ON IT UNTIL IT STARTS TO FEEL BETTER, AND MAKE SURE NOT TO PUT EXTRA PRESSURE ON IT!

Jack Fruit

Grows on Trees

They are not ripe until they are brown and give off a fruity smell

DO NOT EAT THE STEM

The Tree Tap

First you drill a hole into the tree that is about 2 inches deep. Then you put the tap into the hole that you drilled.

YOU CAN'T DRINK THE WATER AFTER 24 HOURS BECAUSE OF THE SUGARS IN IT!

Wild Watermelon

  • Vines trail on the ground with small yellow flowers
  • Able to thrive with little water
  • Are edible

Water Bird!

If you see a sandgrouse (a type of bird) follow it because they can find water easily.

Prickly Pears

Can be a food supply and a (very small) water supply!

MAKE SURE TO TAKE OFF SPINES(spikes)!

Camels

Camel meat is edible but they are vicious. So to kill them you have to sneak up behind the animal.

Scorpions

Scorpions are dangerous because they can poison you so watch out!

If you get stung by a scorpion do the following:

1. Wet bandage

2. Put bandage on where you got stung and keep it there for as long as it's wet

3. Take it off for a while

4. Repeat

Snakes

Watch out for snakes, they blend in.
