FROM THE HEAD'S DESK
Happy New Year and welcome to the new term. We have started almost to time, however the flooding of Widbrook Common and the surrounding areas has led to later starts in the day than expected. I spoke with the boys of the high level of activity that goes on this term and that to meet the challenge we will need to be organised and flexible, as the weather in particular at this time of year, can be capricious.
I hope the boys have read their reports and are challenged by the targets given to them and motivated to achieve these.
Year 11 will receive their reports next week and I look forward to meeting parents on 20 January. This is a very important time for this year group and they need to fully focus on their challenges.
Lastly, Mr Blakeley today at assembly, told of the need to embrace the opportunities the boys have at this school, no one wants to be dull!
John Rayer
