This is a great opportunity for students to see the platform that will be used to for the STAAR test at the end of the year and have a better understanding of what a longer assessment looks like. Students will be tested on TEKS in their current grade level so there could be content on the test they may not know or understand because they haven't learned it yet. **This assessment will not be used for a grade in any way, shape, or form.
If you would like to look at the platform that will be used to administer the assessment, please click HERE

National Hispanic Heritage Month is from September 15 to October 15 – National Hispanic Heritage Month traditionally honors the cultures and contributions of both Hispanic and Latino Americans as we celebrate heritage rooted in all Latin American countries. During this period, the United States recognizes the contributions and influence of Hispanic Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States. Northpointe Intermediate celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month and encourages our Wildcats to embrace the contributions and influence of Hispanic Americans in the United States.

Car Rider Line Reminders
Thank you all for your patience and flexibility as we have worked through car rider line logistics! Please remember that when you exit the car rider line, you can not turn left. You must turn right onto Northpointe Blvd. If you turn left, it becomes a safety hazard and can also impede the flow of traffic exiting and entering the car rider line. We appreciate your help with this!
Update: Bus Transportation Information
All students are able to utilize TISD Transportation through September 7th regardless of bus registration status. After September 7th, students must be registered for transportation. Registration is required for each student needing bus service to and/or from school. Please fill out a separate registration for each TISD student needing transportation in your household.
All information regarding bus transportation, including bus service registration, bus routes, bus rider rules, and Smart Tag information, can be found on the TISD Transportation website.
Reminder: Student Dress Code
- All students must wear clothing that adequately covers the body. Shorts and/or skirts must reach the mid-thigh. Spaghetti straps, strapless, backless, see-through and low-cut tops are not allowed. Tops must cover the midriff.
- Student hair must be that of natural color. Students that need to address this particular portion can meet with their Assistant Principal to discuss a solution and timeline.
All dress code policies can be found in the TISD Student Handbook linked HERE.
