The Future of Energy
Nuclear Fusion Is Now A Usable Energy Source For Humans!
How Is This Possible?
Today is Friday, December 11, 2015. On this day, I Brian Davenport and a group of researchers in a small lab in Eastern North Carolina uncovered the secret to using nuclear fusion as a source of energy on Earth. For a while, we have been researching and experimenting with trying to produce stable nuclear fusion, thing kind of energy that our sun uses to produce its mass amounts of energy.
How This All Works
Nuclear fusion, not to be confused with nuclear fission, is the combining of atoms to produce energy. Before now, this has never been done on Earth on a stable scale. The only place it ever has is in stars. Nuclear fission, on the other hand, is child's play to today's nuclear scientists. This is the splitting of atom to produce energy, the opposite of fusion. This is the type of energy produced in today's nuclear power plants, but not for long!
Safety and Economic Concerns
As far as safety goes, producing this type of energy is extremely dangerous. One wrong move and catastrophe can occur. A massive amount of training would be required for anyone working in this field. Speaking of jobs, this breakthrough will surely cause a loss in finance and usage of other energy sources because of the massive amount of energy it produces. What country's government wouldn't want to have the potential energy of a star powering their citizens. Some businesses may lose money, but it would be a small price to pay for such an advancement in energy.
