Solidarity Fund

Peirce community members are seeking donations to help students and their families during this time of increased need. 100% of funds will go directly to support Peirce families in need of support.

This solidarity fund is in no way affiliated with Peirce or CPS. This is an effort put forth by community members for our school community. Solidarity work is rooted in the knowledge that we, as community members, should be working together to support each other while we dismantle institutions and systems of oppression. https://my.cheddarup.com/c/peirce-solidarity-fund-fondo-de-solidaridad-peirce

Move-A-Thon 2022 Thank you!

Dear Peirce Community,

Thank you for all of the enthusiasm, positive energy, and joy you brought to the 2022 Move-a-Thon! It was an incredible day celebrating Peirce Elementary and our community. Thank you to all who helped make this possible as participants, volunteers, donors, and supporters! We also thank all of the staff as well as the Peirce administration for the help planning and facilitating Move-a-Thon, especially Ms. Lebovitz and Principal Zaimi! Together, we raised over $40,000 to help fund arts partnerships at every grade level!

Before school let out, your child should have brought home a special keepsake booklet from Move-a-Thon.

We want to thank our generous sponsors for the event:

The printing of the beautiful Move-a-Thon book was donated by Kevin Michalski, UPS owner, and a Peirce grandparent. All fruit was donated by Edgewater Produce. Many prizes were donated from businesses such as Forever Yogurt, Altitude Chicago, Play Toys and Books, Alley Cat Comics, and Starbucks.
