Moving Toward School Year 20-21
June 11th: Video Message from Superintendent Murphy
Dear BCS Parents/Caregivers, Students, and Staff:
I hope you are enjoying the great summer weather we have been experiencing. I want to take a moment to let you know that we are working toward and thinking through what the delivery of educational services will look like as we are scheduled to open on August 18th.
Our advance team is working through many scenarios, and using the guidance provided by the WV Department of Education, which is attached below, we will work toward plans that best serve our student population. While I recognize that decisions that will be made will not be in favor of all families, I will appreciate your positive attitude, your thoughts, ideas or concerns that you wish to express to me.
Thank you for spending a few minutes with me today. Please enjoy my message below.
Be well, stay safe.
Patrick K. Murphy, Superintendent of Schools
