More Fantastic Nuno Felt Hats

with Dawn Edwards

So many hats and only one head!

Come and learn the basics or expand your knowledge of 3D felting to create beautiful nuno felt hats under the guidance of well known US felter Dawn Edwards. Working with 100% merino roving and beautiful silk fabrics (some beaded for a stunning effect), you'll love the artistic possibilities found through the medium of felt, functionality is an added bonus! We will create our hats over a template using wet-felting techniques, integrated flowers for adornment (no sewing) will also be taught. Whilst some previous feltmaking experience is helpful all levels are welcome to this workshop including beginners, Nicola Brown will be on hand to help and act as Dawn's assistant.
