How tofind the volume of a three dimensional object and more
This will explain how to find the volume of prisms
The formula for the volume of a rectangular prism is volume equals base times height. For a cylinder you do pi times radius squared. For a triangular prism you do base times height divided by two.
Here are some fun facts about 3d shapes
All prisms are named after their bases. Height is the amount of layers base a three dimensional object has. The base is the amount of cubes in the first layer only.

I met the standards of this project by connecting the prisms and how to find the area and volume of these 3 dimensional objects. I also meet the standards by involving what the formula for volume is.
Alex has met the standards my clearly stating how to use the formula to solve the volume of the Figure and explaining how the figures are named
