Guy Lee's Announcements

Week of Monday May 16th, 2022

Dear Families,

The Guy Lee Admin would like to thank our awesome PTO for their incredible support throughout the year. Our PTO shows their support in so many ways, such as Italian Sodas for staff, goodie bags, along with delicious all-staff lunches from Olive Garden, just to name a few. We appreciate everything you do to support our staff and students.

Thank you to everyone who attended our last General PTO Meeting this past few months. Hearing feedback and brainstorming ideas together is invaluable to our event planning, and we could not do it without the community efforts demonstrated by our families throughout the year. We will have our next PTO meeting in September 2022, can’t wait to see you there.

Volunteer 2022-2023 School year! Please go to the district's website and fill out your volunteer paperwork, and we will contact you with exciting oppunnities to volunteer and support Guy Lee.

As the end of the school year approaches, we are busy planning fun end-of-the-year events. Watch for more information and details coming soon.

.

Enjoy your weekend and stay dry.

Sincerely,

Bambi Van Dyke, Principal

Josh Donaldson, Assistant Principal

Guy Lee Volunteers

We are pleased to announce that we will soon be welcoming volunteer’s back into our building. Springfield School District has purchased a new visitor management system to help us streamline your return to our building. Volunteers will now submit an application online using the volunteer portal. The website will gather all of the required information and volunteers will be required to attach a photo of their vaccine card to the site. All volunteers will be required to provide proof of vaccination before being approved and the district is currently not accepting exemption requests for this requirement at this time.

We do not have an exact date that we will be opening our doors, but we wanted everyone to get a head start on getting their applications in. The links are below or on the main district website https://www.springfield.k12.or.us/site/.
