The Jeep has arrived! :)
From the Desk of the Principal:
Attention parents of students going to Brooks Memorial Library after school!
Lindsay Bellville, Librarian at Brooks Memorial Library, contacted me this week regarding SMS students who are dismissed to the library afterschool. She asked that I contact you and ask that we all reiterate to our children the expected behavior while at the library.
It seems that our students’ behavior is loud and disrespectful. They are spoken to often and disregard the reminders and requests from the librarians. Students should only go to the library to complete homework, to study or to read silently. It is not a place to socialize.
Thank you in advance for working with your children to teach them appropriate behavior and clarifying expectations when they are unsupervised.

Uniform Reminder
Just a reminder to please check out the Dress Code - it's getting colder, and especially on PE days, many multi-colored sweatshirts are making their way into school.
Please remember that Navy blue sweatshirts are what the dress code requires!
Thank you!
SMS Water Bottles are HERE!
SMS water bottles have been delivered and are ready for pick-up in the SMS office.
The per unit price is $7. The water bottles look fantastic. We HIGHLY recommend using a paint marker on the bottom of the bottle with your child's name and/or initials to help us return these bottles to your students if/when misplaced.
We accept cash, checks and credit/debit cards in the office when you pick up your merchandise. We did order a few extra so if you missed the first round of orders, don't fret!
Additional bottles will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
