Welcome Parents/Guardians

With summer break coming to an end, we are very excited for students to return, to work with them side by side, and to see them continue to grow. Our first day of school is Thursday August 1st. School hours are 7:50 - 2:50.

Dress Code Expectaions

Clothing should be so constructed and worn in a manner that is not unduly revealing. Tops that may NOT be worn are tank tops, muscle shirts, tube tops, halter tops, backless shirts, tops with spaghetti straps, sheer or fishnet shirts, and cut-offs or other tops which show midriff. Plunging neck lines and excessive exposure is not acceptable. Our gauge for necklines will be 4”; the length of four fingers. All shorts, skirts, and pants should not be unduly revealing, using the fingertip rule as a guide.

Student who are in violation of our BHS dress code will be sent to the team office to put on school assigned attire or call a parent/guardian to bring them a change of clothes.

Hats, sweatbands, bandanas are not to be worn in the building. Students who wear hooded sweatshirts are not permitted to wear the hoods. Any new "fads" in clothing or anything not specifically covered in the above guidelines, which is considered inappropriate dress shall be dealt with at the discretion of an administrator/designee.

Bathroom Misconduct

Please encourage your student(s) not to congregate with other students in the restroom. When groups of students arrive or meet in the restroom together, misconduct is almost always involved; otherwise, why not meet somewhere else? Even when the motives are innocent, students who congregate in the restroom block sinks/stalls and prevent others from using the facilities. Students who are found to be loitering in the restroom can face disciplinary consequences, if there seems to be any abnormal activity.

Operational Reminders

Lanyards and ID’s should be worn throughout the school day. Our students should be aware that if they borrow a lanyard prior to the 7:50am bell it will not be logged against them. Please mention this to your student, and have them see Ms. Harrison whenever they forget their lanyard. To replace a lost lanyard would be $5 ($3 for id, $2 for lanyard).

Parent Meetings

Team 2022 relies on communication and relationships to help you and your student feel supported and valued. As we look forward to getting to know you and your student, do not hesitate to request a meeting with a Team 2022 member.
