STUDENT SUCCESS ID CARDS
Student Success Cards: Starting last week, students received their new Student Success Cards and lanyards. These Student Success Cards feature a student's photo, name, and ID number. The purpose of these cards is to increase efficiency, and most importantly, enhance student safety. Cards were distributed 9/16/22 by first period (homeroom class) and include a lanyard/case for the student to utilize. Please note the district did not provide these cards for all students and we will begin printing cards next week for students who did not receive a SSC. More information to come on how students can request a SSC.
During the school year, these Student Success Cards can be used to:
Serve as ID during the school day and athletic events
Access online learning
Check out books and other age-appropriate materials at any Columbus Metropolitan Library branch
In addition to these benefits, students in grades 9-12 only will be able to access the Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) at no charge.

NEWS FROM THE SCHOOL NURSE
Health Conditions
Please call me if your student has a health diagnosis that may require medication or care while at school. If your child is receiving any medications while at school, you must have a medication authorization form filled out and signed by you and a doctor. Please get in touch with me and I will send one home. Please note that I cannot administer medication unless I have the medication and the signed form.
Immunizations
Our immunization exclusion date is 9/23/22, so please ensure your student is up to date with all their immunizations. If your student has received any vaccinations recently, please have the provider fax them to me at 614-365-6970.
If your student needs immunizations, you may call and schedule an appointment with our Nationwide Children’s Hospital School-Based Health Clinic, conveniently located inside West HS (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays). Call the NCH clinic at 614-355-2590 to schedule an appointment.
