Summer Camp 2019

Congratulations to Jameson H. in Pre-Kindergarten and Ariel S. in Kindergarten for winning our summer camp raffles! They will each receive one free week of camp for their prize! Congratulations!

We are excited about a great camp this year full of so much fun and great activities! Pre-Kindergarten and older - make sure to get your summer camp registration submitted for a wonderful summer!

Lads and Ladies Dance - Friday, April 5th

The Lads and Ladies dance is tonight from 7:00-9:00 p.m. We will have a wonderful evening full of dinner, dancing, dessert, and more! Bring your cameras/phones to capture the beautiful memories with your sons!

Please be reminded that the elementary building will be closing tonight at 5:30 p.m.; any students still here at that time will be moved to the preschool building.

Student Attendance

Please be reminded that elementary students are expected to be in school on time for each full instructional school day. School begins at 8:15 a.m. and ends at 3:45 p.m. Please ensure that your child is present.

Reading Month Continues...............

We have just under two weeks remaining in our Reading Month challenge! We have recorded just less than 40,000 minutes thus far, but the challenge is 93,000 minutes for the human ice cream sundaes to happen! Get reading and bring your reading logs to school for the minutes to be recorded. All forms are due by 4/17. Our human ice cream sundaes are scheduled for Thursday, April 18th at 2:00. Be a top reader, and you will be able to add toppings to the human sundaes!

ERB Standardized Testing

Over the next few weeks, all elementary students (Kindergarten and older) will participate in the ERB standardized testing. We only ask our students to be at school on time, get a good night's sleep, eat a good breakfast, and make their best decisions during the testing. Please note the appropriate dates in order to ensure that your child does not have any conflicting appointments scheduled. Testing will begin promptly at 8:15 a.m. each day.

April 8: Practice tests for all grades 1-6

April 15-17: Kindergarten and 1st Grade testing

April 22-25: 2nd-6th Grade testing

We will ask any Pre-Kindergarten students arriving after 8:15 on testing days to enter the preschool, where they will remain until after each day's testing session is over. Any elementary students arriving late will be kept in the office until the testing session is complete. It is critical that we keep our hallways completely quiet during the testing.

Referral Program

You are our best referrals to have new families join our Merryhill family, and we truly appreciate you sharing your experiences and our school with your families, friends, and co-workers!

As a reminder, when you refer a family, you earn a free week of tuition for one child after the new student has been enrolled for 3 months!! In addition, we will be doing a raffle drawing from all of our family referrals between March 15th and April 15th for great Merryhill gear and prizes, as well as a $50 Chili's gift card! We will announce our winner on April 15th!
