A VERY Busy Week...
Time flies when....you're BUSY!
Today is the last day of the 3rd Nine Weeks of School. This is the time of year that I see big changes in your children, both physically and academically. The work the students are producing right now is at a higher caliber than even a few months ago. This is exciting!
Next week we will make new Reading Goals for our last quarter of 3rd Grade.
We took a Unit 6 Reading Comprehension test today. I will grade it over the weekend and return it to your child on Monday, March 13. All tests we take (except for Math) are kept in your child's Data Binder.
We really enjoyed watching the play, The Day the Crayons Quit. We had some wonderful Room 9 helpers who were selected by Mrs. Vits to assist with the younger students in the play... Nylah, Brooke, and Ellie did a fantastic job!
We met with our Book Buddies from Mrs. Johnson's room this morning. They shared their writing with us. It is so sweet to see how your children interact with the young kids.
We enjoyed a cartoon lunch in the classroom today due to the play taking place in the cafeteria.
Have a wonderful weekend!
