For The Betterment of Our Students!
Hello Main Street Family!
I would like to take this time to thank you for all you do to support your students and the Main Street staff. We count it a privilege to be able to educate your most valuable possessions. We thank you for trusting us and look forward to finishing this academic year strong. In the final 5 1/2 months remaining when students return, it is imperative they report to school on time and remain until school is dismissed. We believe our students are destined for greatness and we strive to give them the best education available!
Winter break begins Friday, December 23, 2022! There is no school for students for students through Monday, January 2, 2023! Students will return Tuesday, January 3, 2023.
When we return, all students and staff will be required to wear mask for the first ten days.
We are also encouraging everyone to take preventative measures which include:
- Using hand sanitizer
- Handwashing, covering mouth and nose when coughing/sneezing
- Staying home if you feel sick
Also, households can now order FREE at-home COVID-19 tests through the federal government.
To order tests, visit https://www.covid.gov/tests.
Have a safe and enjoyable break!
I look forward to seeing you all next year!!
CUSD Technology Usage
Parents and Guardians:
Chromebooks or other technological devices are sent home with students to complete assignments on asynchronous days. These devices must be used to complete assignments given by your child's teacher or teachers. Students may not download games, wallpapers or participate in video group discussions. Please monitor your children to ensure they are not using their devices to participate in any of the above activities. Improper use of technology could result in the student losing privileges of using the school's device.
Main Street students enjoyed a week of festive activities. They included pajama day, ugly sweater day, and crazy hat & sock day! They also put on an excellent Winter Concert for their family and classmates!
All students must report to school in uniform everyday!
All adults interested in assisting our students, must submit a child abuse clearance form. You may obtain this document by clicking the link below:
Car Line
Parents:
Please refrain from making u turns in the car line during dismissal. The safety of our children and parents is of utmost importance to us. We would like to move the cars through the line without any disruptions.
