Blue Hills News
From the Desk of the Principal - September 23, 2021
Dear Blue Hills Families,
We have settled into the school year here at Blue Hills - I hope the Fall is off to a great start for you and your family.
Last week, freshmen had their first full week of Exploratory. Week two is coming up! Athletics are in full swing, and extracurricular clubs and activities are starting soon. A listing of clubs and activities, and advisors, is available on the website.
Some important notes for the upcoming weeks:
- 3:10 late buses will begin running next Monday, September 27. Late buses run Monday through Thursday each week. Students are encouraged to stay after school for extra help or to participate in clubs and activities.
- Please be reminded that students must be with a teacher, coach, or advisor after school; students are not allowed to remain in the building without supervision.
- Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on October 21 and October 26. Details on the conference times will be forthcoming. We are exploring remote and in-person options for the conferences.
Important: If you have not yet completed the mandatory registrations on FamilyID, please do so as soon as possible! This allows us to update contact information for important notices and communication.
Sincerely,
Mr. Zini
Vaping in School
Vaping at Blue Hills carries with it disciplinary consequences. We also stand in support of students' health and encourage any teen struggling with addiction of any kind to reach out for help. There are some resources on quitting vaping and tobacco here.
