Erin Kane Meet and Greet
We have scheduled an opportunity for Douglas County Feeder employees to meet the new interim superintendent, Erin Kane on Thursday, September 22 at 6 p.m. at Mesa Middle School.
This is an optional event and is intended to be a casual way for staff to meet our new leader, ask questions, and share feedback. Additionally, she will be visiting each school in the feeder area.
CITE FOCUS GROUP PARTICIPATION:
During the 2015-16 school year, a focus group of licensed professionals (administrators and teachers alike) from all levels was created to brainstorm ideas to continually improve our evaluation system. The team spent six, 3 ½ hour sessions together, working to revise our generalist rubric. The work was rewarding, so the group asked to continue the process throughout the current school year. DCSD values stakeholder input, and with District Accountability Committee and Board of Education approval, the group’s desire to continue the process has been approved. If you are interested in serving on the CITE Focus group for the 2016-2017 school year, please read this detailed information.
