ICEF Academic Newsletter
August 21, 2015
Here we go, Week 2!
We made it through the first week of school! Thank you to all Team Members for a very successful opening. A number of us visited all schools and there definitely was a positive energy in the air. Here's to One Team, One Dream, achieving a Culture of Excellence!
Academic Team Calendar
A Rainbow of Colors! Calendar now includes Ryan, Marie, David, Nimat and Shannon!
Upcoming Dates
August 27 - Community Meet and Greet with ICEF Board Members, Home Office Staff and School Directors (Downstairs Home Office Conference Room)
September 3 - Instructional Specialists' Meeting
Instructional Focus - Same as Last Week!
This week's focus should continue to be on Behavior Expectations, ICEF TEF 2.2A. During last week's walk-throughs, we observed the need to enforce 100% compliance, as well as the need to deliver clearer directions.
- Are classroom, hallway, and playground expectations specific, clear, sequential and consistent?
- Are we holding students to scholarly expectations?
