A Note from Mrs. Fadeji...
I want to encourage and thank you all for your perseverance during Distance Learning. I know it isn't easy at all. Don't be afraid to take a break when you need it! A "break" will likely look different for each family. It might look like, a walk, a drive, a quiet space, a movie, a virtual visit to a museum or park, or even a DAY off! Imagine that! Whatever your family needs, we support you!
During this week of teacher and staff appreciation, I'd like to share the following:
Dear Team Penn,
In a time like this, words cannot express my sadness to not physically be with you this week watching you in your element exchanging smiles, sharing hugs, and laughing about the silly things kids do and say. I probably don't tell you enough the genuine joy each of you bring me as I get to witness you work. "Work" is an interesting thing isn't it? Some people work for a living, some people work for a hobby, some people work by choice, others because they have no choice. Some people like going to work, others would rather stay home. (or used to! ha!)
One thing I believe to be true, is that each day, there is this magical group of people who show up to 365 Adobe Road. A team if you will, made up of the most fun, caring, kindhearted, talented, hilarious, beautiful humans I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Watching your love and care for our students each day is the absolute greatest joy I have ever experienced in my professional journey.
Happy Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week, Team Penn! Don't forget to celebrate yourselves and recognize what an impact you have on so many lives. You are seen. You are heard. You are treasured. Our Penngrove Panthers are so lucky to have you. So am I.
All my love,
It's Staff Appreciation Week! Check out the LOVE from our #PennVillage!
Want to show your love? There's still time!
- Have students write notes to teachers/staff and mail to P.O. Box 480, Penngrove 94951
- Send an email to a teacher/staff member and tell them why you love them!
- IOUs for coffee, special treats, hand sanitizer or disinfecting wipes.
As always, these are meant to be helpful suggestions and are totally optional!
Congrats, Ms. Boronkay!
