Hold my hand, Lord, show me the way
Help me be grateful for every day
Show me the difference between right and wrong
Keep me safe, Lord, all night long
Give me direction on what to do,
lead the way, Lord, I trust in you
Amen
From the Principal
Dear St Columba’s school community,
This week has been a fairly quiet one at St Columba’s! Staff are busy finalising teaching and learning programs and preparing Semester One Reports.
As winter has started, and the cold and flu season is in full swing, can I please remind parents that if your child is unwell, they should stay home until they are well enough to return to school. Please follow the normal processes and advise the school of your child’s absence by emailing the front office.
Last Thursday was a very proud moment for me as I watched our wonderful Year 6 students create and organise a fabulous ‘Fun Afternoon’. The atmosphere was exciting, and the sound of laughter and enjoyment was infectious. Congratulations to everyone as the amount raised from these stalls was $1244.50. Thank you to our dedicated staff for assisting, in particular Mr Beins.
Finally, please remember that Friday, July 2nd, is a Pupil Free Day. The school will be closed on this day as all staff will be participating in a Professional Learning Day off site.
Wishing you all a lovely weekend.
God Bless
Rebecca Clarke
