A few things to take care of before the school year starts.

1. Online Verification of Enrollment Information using ParentVue

2. Free/Reduced-priced Meal Application. Remember to check, "Share Information" to have academic, Chromebook loss protection coverage and athletic fees waived.

3. ParentSquare is our new messaging system. Download the app.

4. Sign-up for Chromebook Loss Protection Coverage for a fee of $20, or maximum fee of $60 per family, per school year. This program protects families in situations where the student’s device is damaged, lost or stolen. The $20 fee to participate in the program is waived for families who qualify for the free or reduced meal benefits program and have completed the Permission to Share portion of the Meal Benefits Application.

2021-2022 MEAL SERVICE

All enrolled BSD students are eligible for FREE breakfast and FREE lunch!

Students get free meals at their school. No registration is required. Students can simply pick up meals in their school cafeteria during meal service.

If you are interested in academic or athletic fee waivers you will need to fill out the annual Meal Benefits Application. Remember to check, "Share Information" for fee waivers.

ParentVue and ParentSquare - Yes, Two Systems with Similar Names

ParentVue is a web portal that allows parents and guardians to access real-time information related to their student(s). If you need to set up an account email and we will send it to you. The link to ParentVue is here.

ParentSquare is a simple-to-use platform that provides a safe way for everyone at a school to connect. With ParentSquare, you'll be able to:

  • Receive messages from the district and school via email, text or app notification
  • Choose to receive information as it comes or all at once at 6 p.m. daily
  • Communicate in your preferred language
  • Comment on school postings to engage in your school community
  • Direct message teachers, staff and other parents
  • Participate in group messages
  • Sign up for parent-teacher conferences
  • Sign forms & permission slips
  • And more all from your phone or web portal!

9th Grade Families - Get Ready to Join the Warrior 'Ohana

August 29th - Check your front door for your Warrior Lanyard and invitation to Shirts and Desserts. Warrior staff and volunteers will be delivering swag to your door.

September 14th - Shirts and Desserts is a welcome night to our 9th Grade students and families. Students will get their free 2025 T-shirt, meet Principal Casteel, your teachers and counselors. Dessert, activities, childcare and interpreters are provided.

Schools work closely with ODE, OHA and Washington County Public Health preparing to return to school. Classrooms will look similar to prior to the pandemic. Some health protocols will be in place -masking, three feet of physical distancing.
