WPHS students took the PSAT and NMSQT in October. Over 70 of our Juniors, and a few Freshmen and Sophomores, who took the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test scored over 1000! What does this mean? A LOT!! First of all, WPHS students are growing academically every year and taking their schooling seriously! Second, this group has set a new mean NMSQT score to beat for future WPHS students of 990 . Third, the scores this group of academic stars earned are, collectively, some of the highest we have seen at WPHS! To congratulate this hard working and focused group of students, district administrators gathered with them in the library for pizza, ice cream, and a look at their scores.
