Happy Sunday Dolphin Families!


What a great time was had by all who were able to join us at the Carnival this past weekend! It was wonderful to see so many LCM families on campus and enjoying all of the fun things the Carnival had to offer! Again, I'd like to extend my gratitude to all of the volunteers who gave their time to make this favorite LCM event possible!


We kick off Red Ribbon Week tomorrow and a list of the Spirit Days can be found below. Additionally, we have our October Friday Flag Salute this Friday, October 28th. More information on that morning can also be found below.

National Red Ribbon Week


Red Ribbon Week is coming up and this year's theme is, "Celebrate Life, Live Drug Free." Our Student Council has been busy planning the first spirit week of the year to align with Red Ribbon Week. All students are encouraged to dress up for each day's Red Ribbon Week aligned theme.



  • Oct 24: Fight Drugs / Super Hero Day
  • Oct 25: Sock it to Drugs / Crazy Socks Day
  • Oct 26: Drugs are Crazy / Crazy Hair Day
  • Oct 27: Pair Up Against Drugs / Classroom Twin Day: Each class will pick a color and everyone in the class wears that color.
  • Oct 28: Say BOO to Drugs / Orange and Black Day



**Please note that students will be able to dress up in their Halloween costumes on 10/31.

October Friday Flag Salute

Join us for our next Friday Flag Salute this Friday, October 28th. Parents attending Flag Salute may enter campus at 8:15 AM with their first through fifth grader(s), parents of TK students may enter at 8:15 AM with their children through the kindergarten gate, and parents of kindergarten students may enter at 8:30 AM with their children through the kindergarten gate.


Please note that for safety reasons younger siblings attending Flag Salute with their family may not play on the play structure before school or during Flag Salute. Thank you in advance for your support and cooperation with this!


Fifth Grade Parents: You are not going to want to miss this month's Flag Salute as your fifth grader has a special surprise in store!


Our Choir will also be performing at this month's Flag Salute and this will be their first public debut of their singing skills and all that they have already learned with Mr. Ball!


PTO will also have our coffee cart available for adults, along with with breakfast and snack options for kids. Bring a few bucks to donate, or send some cash along with your child (as well as the signed permission slip).

Halloween - October 31st

Staff and students are invited to wear their Halloween costumes on Monday, October 31st. Please note the following costume restrictions: No scary costumes, masks, or costume accessories that include pretend weapons are allowed at school.

The LCM PTO is an awesome team of volunteer parents and teachers working together to create a fun, inclusive environment for you and your children. We are looking forward to meeting you at our annual school events & activities!

DOUBLE DINE OUT: OCTOBER 27

We have a super fun DOUBLE Dine Out Thursday, October 27 at Raising Cane's (105 S Las Posas Road, San Marcos) and Handel's Ice Cream (109 S Las Posas Rd) from 11 am - 9 pm. Since the restaurants are next door to each other you can enjoy twice the treats - and LCM will get twice the donactions back to our school (for lunch or dinner)! Thank you so much for your support!
