News from the end of May
CHICKS!!
We had a very successful batch of eggs this year. Only ONE of the 12 eggs did not hatch. We got to see, firsthand, what happens when a chick breaks out of its shell. Here is one that we witnessed.

Kaleidoscope Field Trip
We had a great day at Kaleidoscope putting the "Arts" in STEAM. We also enjoyed hearing about Hallmark and learning about their many gifts to Kansas City.
Finally - CODING
Our last PLTW unit was coding using Scratch, Jr. It was fun to share projects this week and see what students have learned. Just for fun, here is a top ten list of things overheard while working on their projects. Enjoy!
