5th Grade "Clap Out"
Reminder Information for Parents/Guardians and Family
Dear Anderson 5th grade parents,
It is hard to believe that our 5th graders will be heading off to Middle School. I’m sure for most of you, it seems like yesterday they were walking into Kindergarten. We are so proud of all of the hard work they have put in this school year and we can’t wait to continue a fun and meaningful tradition at Anderson School. All 5th Grade parents/guardians and family members are welcome to attend the 5th Grade Clap Out.
When: Wednesday, May 25th
Time: Starts at 2:40 p.m. (Arrive with enough time to park, sign in, and get to the parent’s area.
Where: If it is not raining parents will line up near the soccer field. If it is raining, we will have parents gather in the gym. The line of 5th-grade students will parade through the halls of the school and then past their parents where they will join you to go home or stay with their teacher for our dismissal procedure.
Parking: Allow enough time for you to find a spot and walk to the parent area. You don’t want to miss your 5th Grader. You are welcome to park across the street in the large Tekakwitha Forest Preserve parking lot. Then take a quick walk to the parent viewing area shown on the map below.
Check In Check Out: Parents will be asked to sign in at a welcome table. Your child can ride the bus home like normal, or you can take them home with you.
