Ten Days left!!! Get your fundraising on! This is one of the PTA's biggest events. It doesn't take much to use Pledgestar and before you know it, your child collected $10 from 10 people and has raised $100! Our goal this year is to raise an impressive 35K for Grant. That means we need your help! This year, you can turn in money in the office or you can add in the use of Pledgestar. Here's how:

  • Go to
  • Click “Not Registered For This Year’s Event”
  • Enter your name and email address, then click “Submit”
  • Follow the instructions on-screen to register students
  • When you finish, the system emails pledge requests to family and friends and allows them to make secure credit card donations online. Then, you can track your pledge progress.

Upcoming Author Visit on October 17th

We are so excited to welcome author, Jon Agee to Grant on October 17th. His book, The Wall in the Middle of the Book tells the story of a hero–a young knight–who is sure that the wall protects his side of the book from the dangers of the other side–like an angry tiger and giant rhino, and worst of all, an ogre who would gobble him up in a second! But our knight doesn’t seem to notice the crocodile and growing sea of water that are emerging on his side. When he’s almost over his head and calling for help, who will come to his rescue? An individual who isn’t as dangerous as the knight thought–from a side of the book that might just have some positive things to offer after all!

November 2 through 4- Shop and Donate with Copperfield's bookstore. Mention Grant at the checkout register and they will donate 20% of all your purchases back to our school.

Bike Safety

Please remind your students to ride their bikes safely to and from school and on campus. Thank you for helping us keep our shamrocks safe and out of the nurse's office.

Back Gate At School

In an effort to monitor visitors on campus during school hours, we ask that families refrain from entering campus through the back gate until 5 minutes before dismissal. On Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday that is 2:15 pm. On Wednesday's that is 12:40 pm. If you plan to visit the Grant campus before those times, please enter through the front of the school and check in to the front office. We realize that this is a new rule and very much appreciate your patience and understanding as we implement it to keep our students as safe as possible.

Grant Halloween Parade, Wednesday, 10/31

It's a wonderful Grant Tradition! The annual Grant Halloween Parade. Students will gather on the blacktop around 10:35 and a few minutes later they'll proceed through the neighborhood, coming back through the front of the school. Details and a parade route map will be published soon so you can spread out through the route to take pictures and cheer, but for parents who want to take the time off to see the parade, just know it's from around 10:40 -11:10 am.

Safety Committee Meeting 10/25 At 6:30 pm

Please join the Grant Safety Committee at the end of this month to discuss the latest action items taking place on our campus. Our Superintendent of Business and Facilities will be joining us at the beginning of the meeting to discuss upcoming projects. See you there!

90's Party Wrap Up and a Look Forward To The Next Event, 12/1

Thank you to all who came out to help raise money for Grant. The 90s Party was wonderful and the Crysdale family home was the perfect, spectacular place for it. We hope you can make it to the next sign up party, "Let's Get Crafty" on December 1st - and there are still a few spaces left! It's a fun Christmas crafting class and you'll come away with some cute things. Join the group of Grant supporters, you are so welcomed to come! Check the party binder in the office. In the words of Chantel Smith, "It's for the kids!"
Here are some photos from the event...
