Pedal for Hope Mask Fundraiser

To launch the Pedal for Hope campaign, this year we are selling masks online. Each masks costs $10 - $4 is the cost and $6 per mask goes to our fundraising total. Please consider helping us to get our fundraising started! This year, all orders are done online through (nothing comes into the school). The turn around is really quick - all orders due by March 22nd. They also make great gifts - together let's work hard to make this our best fundraising year ever!!!

Daily Online Screening

Just a little reminder to please ensure you complete the COVID screener daily with each of your children. If one of your children does not pass, everyone must stay home. Then follow the instructions on your screen. The screener can be found at: If you would like a paper copy of the screener, please see the attachment below.

Individual Picture Day

Although we aren't able to do group/class photos this year, we have been able to arrange for individual pictures to be taken. This has been booked for Kawartha Heights on Wednesday, March 24th. Please see the information below about precautions that will be taken to ensure safety this year.

A HUGE thank you!!!!

You may remember that in last week's Parent Peek at the Week, I put forth an unusual see if anyone had some stumps to donate to the school so that we could work on developing a few outdoor learning classrooms.

Well, once again our Kawartha Heights community came through for us! A HUGE thank you to Avaya's family in Mrs. Rutherford’s class - who along with Triland Environmental, donated 2 classes worth of stumps for our main yard. In addition - a HUGE thank you to Sam and Ella's family (Mrs. Rutherford and Mrs. Ross' classes) who donated another class worth of stumps that we are able to use on the Kindergarten yard for their outside learning.

During these challenging times, it is so wonderful to be able to continue working together to make things as "normal" and comfortable for our students as possible. Thank you for being such terrific partners!!!!

Domino's Pizza Fundraiser

This year School Council has found fundraising challenging due to all the COVID regulations...but we have found a wonderfully yummy one for you!

On March 24, 2021, Domino's Pizza is supporting our school in a Pizza fundraising night. Please see the flyer below for more information - and plan on NOT cooking that night, in support of Kawartha Heights!
