Facts About Cumberland Island
Cumberland Island is one of Georgia's largest barrier Islands located in the coastal plains. It also has a LOT of history. It's one of the most spectacular natual habitats in the northern hemisphere. The island is approximately 18 miles long and between one - half and 8 miles wide , 40 square miles. People say the sunset accross the western marsh of the island is an unforgettable view.

Things To Do With Kids
This is a beautiful Island with PLENTY of stuff to do. The island has MANY old houses. [ that is GREAT if you want to rent houses there.] There is a zoo called the Roger Williams Park Zoo. If you have kids than that should be a GREAT place to go! Also there is the museum of natural history for the kids to learn about culture, history, and creativity.
