Principal's message - week 33
Greetings North Plains Families!
Bingo night is finally here! I was really looking forward to coming, but my dad is really ill and I need to head down the freeway to support my mom. Have a great time and someone take some photos for me!
Don't forget about testing night happening on Monday, March 19 at 6:00 PM in the computer lab. I'll talk a little about the importance of state testing and we'll all get a chance to experience what the kids need to do on the tests!
Next week is spirit week! We are having a colorful week so hopefully everyone can participate:
Monday - Groovy Green
Tuesday - Remarkable Red
Wednesday - Outrageous Orange
Thursday - Vivacious vilolet
Friday - You Rock Yellow!
Yes, that spells GROOVY! We'll play some 70's music with announcements to make it more fun:)
New event - DARE graduation for 4th grade students will be May 2 at 8:45. Parents are invited to attend!
Attention 6th grade parents - you likely have already heard, but Evergreen is having their incoming 7th grade parent night on April 16 from 6-7:30 PM. You definitely want to go and hear what Evergreen has to offer!
If you like choral music, come join us next Thursday, March 22, for the concert at Glencoe. Choirs form Jackson Elementary, North Plains Elementary, Evergreen and Glencoe will all perform. Singers need to be there at 6, and the concert starts at 7.
Finally, the OBOB regional tournament for grades 3-5 is this Saturday at 8:30 AM at Witch Hazel Elementary. Go Mind Readers!!
Have a great weekend!
Becky
