Adolf Hitler
Nazi leader, Adolf Hitler, was one of the most powerful and infamous dictators of the 20th century. After World War I, he rose to power, taking control of the German government in 1933. His establishment of concentration camps to inter Jews and other groups he believed to be a threat. Which resulted in the death of more than 6 million people in the Holocaust. He attacked Poland in 1939 started World War II. The war turned, following an invasion of Russian and the U.S. entry into battle, and Hitler killed himself shortly before Germany’s defeat.

Franklin D. Roosevelt
Born in 1882, Franklin D. Roosevelt became our 32nd president in 1932. Franklin D. Roosevelt helped the american people regain their hope during the Great Depression. With the New Deal, America's depression started to fade. He was re-elected. When war broke out in Europe, Franklin D. Roosevelt did the bets he could to send aid to Britain.
When the Japanese's attacked Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, Roosevelt decided to go to global war. As the war continued, Roosevelt wanted these nations to re-connect each other. For world peace. As the war ended Roosevelt's health deteriorated, and in 1945, he died.
