HOLY ROSARY NEWSLETTER
Term 3 Week 9 - 18 September 2020
FROM GEORDIE
Good afternoon everyone,
I know our Newsletter is out a little early this week, however, with the carnival tomorrow I thought we would have everything done so we can enjoy the day.
On Tuesday night Aleana and I met with the P&F for our monthly meeting. The vibe in these meetings has been great this year and I encourage anyone who is interested to come along. The meetings are kept short (as I have a Board Meeting straight afterwards) and provide a great opportunity to meet new, enthusiastic parents and discuss different community and fundraising initiatives. Anita and her team are a heap of fun and are also keen to see new faces at their meetings!
This week we had the opportunity to discuss the recent Father’s Day breakfast and from our survey and feedback I think it is pretty safe to say that a good time was had by all. Our team of extremely hard working Year 5 parents led by Steph Barnard, Susan Brown, Mel Dixon and Tara Zeid did an awesome job, along with help from the P&F. Big thanks to everyone involved!
A reminder that tomorrow all our students are very excited about their Athletics Carnival and we are keen to welcome our parents to the event. Can I please remind everyone again to do their best to observe social distancing rules and spread out in the spectator area as much as possible. This will be helped with the separation between our upper and junior carnivals. Can I also please ask that parents do not go into the bays in the middle of the oval. This area is for students and staff. It is going to be a cracking day weather wise so I look forward to seeing you there.
One week to go before we can all have a chill out and reload into a fun-filled final term!

P & F NEWS
Holy Rosary Cookbook

FAQ:
Q. The recipe isn’t one I created. Can I still submit it?
A. YES! While we are conscious of copyright legislation etc most recipes are not unique to a particular cookbook/chef so feel free to rename it or if you use substitute ingredients include those! We all change up recipes to suit our families tastes.
Q: My recipe is pretty straightforward and boring. I don’t think anybody would be interested in it.
A: It may be stock standard and boring to you but to another family it might spice up a weekly dinner plan! Fast, nutritious and delicious is what we need for a weekday dinner!
Q: I don’t have time to write out a recipe.
A: Use the copy and paste function. Quick and fast. The more recipes you submit the faster you will get doing it!
