Drought in India
Monsoons Bring Big Problems to India
India has already been experiencing weather problems such as warmer weather. Warmer weather might now be such a big deal to you but it can do a lot of damage. For instances, unpredictable heat spills can cause the plants to get confused and bloom to early. Then it gets cool again and the plants (the food source) dies.
Statistics show that since the 1970's, South Asia has been getting dryer and has more frequent droughts. In 2002-2003 over half of crops growing for the winter died because of the drought. That caused a huge drop in India's crop production.
