Susan B. Anthony

Life Span (1820-1906)

Susan B.Anthony was a famous suffragist and civil right activist. Which meant she wanted woman to have the right to vote.

Childhood

She was raised in a Quackers household before coming a teacher and then a leader figure.

She lived in Adams, Massachusetts. Her parents were Quackers and Activist in the anti=slavery movement.

Education

She went to school, but when she realized that her teacher didn't teach her some thing because of gender her dad started teaching her. She was well educated at a time that was rare for woman's to be that educated.

Career

Mostly all of her life she was a teacher. But then when she retire she started to involved in political issues. For example woman getting paid the same as men because at that time men were paid more.
