CJHS Counseling Spotlight
What is CJHS doing to educate and help our students?
- There will be regular announcements that educate students on suicide awareness.
- Students receive weekly Character Strong lessons during advisory. The social-emotional learning lessons encourage self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationshiip skills, and responsible decision making. Additionally, Character Strong lessons reinforce character development by focusing on patience, kindness, honesty, respect, selflessness, forgiveness, committment, and humility.
- Students can participate in small group and topic focused discussions in the Counseling Center with Mr. Luna which will give them the tools to handle their problems and grow as individuals.
