IXL Challenge Celebration
We had a BBBBBBLLLLLLAAAASSSSTTTTT! (Well, the kids had a blast. I am exhausted!) I cannot begin to thank you all for all the guidance and support you all provided this year both here at school and at home. They have come so far and made such progress and without such a supportive group of parents this would have never been possible.
Also thank you so much for sending in money and other supplies for our celebration.
Fifth Grade News
Many of you are starting to wonder and ask about next year and when the single gender interest forms will go out. Mrs. Guyton has asked that we let parents know that we will NOT offer single gender next year in the fifth grade. At this time, we are anticipating having only 4 fifth grade classes. All 4 classes will be multi-gender classes.
You should get a phone call or letter from your student's fifth grade teacher at the end of summer.
Summer Reading Challenge
IHES will participate again this year in the Scholastic Summer Reading Program. Your student will have a recording sheet in their folder this week.
