Nurse Notes
February is HEART HEALTH MONTH. We kicked off the month with a fun week of healthy heart tips, culminating in 'Jump Rope for Heart' on Friday.
Heart disease IS preventable! Make a difference in your family and community by encouraging and practicing these important steps to a healthy heart.
1. Exercise for 30-60 minutes on most days of the week
2. Eat a healthy, balanced diet
3. Keep a healthy weight
4. Get regular exams by your doctor
5. Don't smoke, use smokeless tobacco or nicotine products
Remember...the choices you make today can affect the health of your
heart today and in the future!
