Holiday reminders
* When decorating classrooms and hallways, use seasonal items (snowflakes, snowmen, etc) without direct evidence of religious preferences
* It is expected that you continue to follow the KISD scope and sequence - holiday activities must be in alignment with district curriculum

#KISDTrending
Please be aware of students in your classrooms who cannot be in pictures so you can notify members of the communications department should they come to your classroom. This list can be found through the Ridgeview HUB. Students in red should not be photographed.
If you have something specific that you would like highlighted, something that tells the RES Story, please email me the info by Tuesday so I can share it with the team before they arrive.
I'm excited for the greatness of RES to be highlighted on Thursday!!!
The KISD Film Festival is here!
- This is the 10th year of the Film Festival, and we are accepting entries online NOW through January 31, 2019
- 10 categories to choose from, including comedy, music video and documentary. New categories: Foreign Language and Teacher Feature! Enter by yourself, with your friends, or as a class project.
- Finalists will be honored at an Awards Ceremony to be held in April 2019 where they will receive certificates, trophies and prizes.
- The “Filmmaker Campus of the Year” trophy is awarded to the school that enters the most films.
- All the information can be found on the website www.kellerisd.net/film.
We were able to purchase new video equipment with our excess Netprint funds. We have a green screen, lighting, and video camera that you are welcome to utilize for class-produced films.
Classroom Intercoms
We are now able to use an intercom system to reach classrooms instead of calling your phones. This will reduce instructional time interruptions. We will use this system for early release requests and attendance reminders.
As an office staff, we are reviewing our procedures for notifying students when items are brought in to be delivered (lunches, jackets, etc). Our goal is not to disrupt classroom time with these messages.
