Please make arrangements for transportation for your students on these days, if at all possible. The shuttle between BHS and BCHS will run at normal time. If transportation is an issue, please call the office to let us know that your student will be staying. Please be aware that students that stay will be in a study hall. They do not have any classes to take during these days since college will be over for the semester.
Please sign the letter given to your student to indicate you understand the changes to the junior schedule and will help your child attend all the required time during our alternate schedule.
Failure to attend during the times required will result in NO ALTERNATE scheduling during future times that college is out. Student attendance is required and expected.

It is exciting times at BCHS for our juniors as you begin to plan for after high school. Remember that you have the opportunity to have two days excused to allow you to visit colleges with your parents. In order to be excused and not count towards attendance, the date of the absence must be pre-approved. Here is the link to the form for approval. You can also find it under Parents/Students on the BCHS website. It is called College Absence Form!

Crime Stoppers and Friends for Life
Please take a moment to review the BISD Safety and Security website to learn about our safety programs, including Crime Stoppers and Friends For Life.
BISD knows that students see and hear things. A vital step in prevention is early identification of potential threats and intelligence gathering. In partnership with Tarrant County Crime Stoppers and Friends for Life, BISD provides students with a platform to submit anonymous tips. Students are encouraged to report information that is criminal, threatening, inappropriate, or potentially harmful on topics that may include:
Bullying
Dating violence
Cyberbullying
Family violence/abuse
Gang activity
Sexting
Sexual harassment
Suicidal thoughts
Students are able to anonymously submit tips through a phone app, at www.469tips.com or by calling Crime Stoppers 817-469-8477.
Our students learned about these programs when Mrs. Alley visited their classes earlier this year, and they may come home with questions.
If you have questions, feel free to email or call our office.
