The Fifth Grade Finale
A Note From The Teachers
We can hardly believe the year is winding down. Thank you so much for all of you who supported our "Harry Potter" themed EOG review last week. The kids had a great time, and loved the yummy treats! We have successfully completed both the Math and Language Arts EOG, and are prepared for the science EOG next week!
Also, thank you for your kind words and appreciation over teacher appreciation week. We appreciate you, as parents, for getting your kids up and off to school every morning!
If you would like to help your students prepare for the Science EOG, we will be using this site in class on Friday. The format matches that of the EOG. Encourage your student to try it out again over the weekend if you have internet access at home!
Help Wanted
2. Dolphin Days - We still need 4 parent volunteers to assist with Dolphin Days on
June 3 from 11:00-2:30. If you are interested in helping, please email Mrs. Ristaino at mristaino@chccs.k12.nc.us.
3. Indoor Recess - We are in need of quiet indoor activities for the rainy days that prevent us from going outside. If you have a soon to be middle schooler who is losing interest in their legos, kin'x, lincoln logs, or other board games, we would love to have them! (We would also take any playground equipment you would like to clear out of your home!)
4. Spring Cleaning! - Clorox wipes are always appreciated this time of year as we wipe down and clean up!
5. Shoe Boxes - Mrs. Lehman's class is seeking donations of shoe boxes for an end of year project.
