Hello McKinley Community!
Happy August! A quick thank you to all who participated in the School Perceptions Survey in spring. I appreciate the feedback and will use it in setting our goals this year. I hope you have been enjoying the summer! It is passing quickly so as we enter August, I want to brief you on the upcoming school year.
We have switched over to a new communications system called Infinite Campus and hope to solve any glitches early. Here are some bullet points of important information:
Please look for an email from the district informing you of your Infinite Campus login. Infinite Campus will be your portal for important information including report cards. You also will be able to update your contact information in Infinite Campus should anything change. *We are waiting on information from the district to know when you will be able to view teacher assignments. If it is not available on Infinite Campus by August 16th, we will send the teacher assignments to you via email.
The next McKinley email to watch out for will be the online registration forms. When you receive the online registration forms, please fill them out as soon as possible: one form for each child. As of today, Infinite Campus is not ready to accept online payments for school fees, but when that changes, we will let you know. Online payments would be ideal for the office side of things, but we will accept checks or cash during our Back-to-School Celebration on August 28th since we know the convenience fee might be a burden for some families.
Families of incoming junior kindergarten (JK) students will receive a Signup Genius link from JK teachers next week Tuesday, August 6th. If you have a child starting JK this year and you do not receive a link, check your SPAM first. If it is not there, contact the office: 414-773-1500. (We have a waiting list for a.m. JK. If your child is enrolled in a.m. but you don’t mind p.m., please let us know ASAP.)
Important PTO information will be coming soon as well!

Please contact me or Charlotte in the office if you have questions that are not answered here. Also, please speak to your neighbors and ask if they received this email and to contact us if not.
As we move forth through August, enjoy the sunshine and beautiful weather! I have enjoyed seeing many of you in the community these past weeks and am looking forward to our school year together!
