Important Information/Reminders:
We hope that you were able to attend our recent Curriculum Preview. This is just one way that teachers and parents can work together to be strong partners to support our children. If you were not able to attend, please check your teacher's webpage and/or contact your teacher for the information. We want to share all of the important things your children will be experiencing this year.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through the COVID health protocols required by Hamilton County Heath Department. If your child is required to quarantine due to an exposure, you will be called by a building or district staff member so that you are aware right away. We then follow up with an emailed letter explaining in more detail and providing the specific timeframe and process for return to school. Your child's teacher will provide multiple resources and options for your child to continue their learning while home.
If your child is exposed to someone with COVID, please call the district attendance line at 686-1707. Do NOT send them to school.
From Nurse Wyrick.....

• Fatigue
• Muscle or body aches

PTO INFORMATION
2021 Sycamore Board of Education Candidates Forum
On Wednesday, September 29th from 7 P.M. to 9 P.M., the Sycamore Schools PTOs will present a virtual Candidates Forum that will be live broadcast via Sycamore Schools YouTube page. We have elected to host the event virtually to grant all candidates and viewers the same opportunity to attend. Please be aware that there will be no audience participation due to the number of candidates and time constraints. Candidate contact information, links, and material will be presented at the time of the forum.
Each candidate in attendance will have the opportunity to introduce themselves and speak about their campaign. There will then be a period for each of the candidates to answer the most common questions received by the PTOs. Questions can be submitted until midnight on Friday, September 24th. Please follow this link to submit a question. All candidates will have an opportunity for a closing statement following the question and answer session. For those who cannot attend the live feed, a recording will be available for future viewing.
Please check the BAE PTO Facebook page for updates and/or changes to the broadcast/feed address.
