βοΈ Middle School Cyber Safety Assembly
On January 19, 2023 the Trooper First Class James White of the Connecticut State Police will be coming to The Sherman School to speak with our middle school students about social media and internet safety. There will be an interactive presentation catered to the middle school age group designed to help students make good choices when it comes to their digital footprint as it pertains to social media, gaming, and the internet.
π Vision Screenings from The NF Lions Club
The New Fairfield Lions Club, operating under The Connecticut Lions Eye Research Foundation and Lions Eye Health Program, is coming to The Sherman School on January 20, 2023. They will conduct free vision screenings for PreK through fifth grade students.
If you give permission to have your child screened, please download and complete the Vision Screening Consent Form below. π

The Board of Education has approved the 2023-2024 School-Wide calendar.
βοΈ i-Ready Math & ELA Assessments
I-Ready Assessments provide valuable information regarding strengths or needs of your child that teachers will use to inform instruction throughout the coming months.
We value you as partners in your childβs education and will share the findings of these assessments with you. You can help support your child by ensuring they have a good nightβs sleep and healthy breakfast until our assessment window closes on January 27th.
