MCES Media Minute
July 2018
Meet the Media Specialist!
I have been married for 11 years to Chris Edwards, and we have three children- James (9), Allen (6), and Allie Kate (4), along with a sweet puppy named Chewy. In my free time, I enjoy reading, running, and bullet journaling. Please stop by the media center, introduce yourself, and say hi- I am looking forward to a fun year working with you!
Me, too!
How can I serve you?

I am here as an instructional partner. I want to plan with you, teach with you, and assist in developing projects. I can:

I love to read, and I want to share that with the whole world! I want to build a community of readers who enjoy reading independently, and I want everyone to feel welcome in the media center. I can and I will:
- Welcome students, staff, and community clubs, meetings, and activities;
- Host book clubs for students;
- Provide book talks;
- Host book tastings;
Make global connections to other classrooms and people around the world.
