School Counselors provide students with academic, college/career and social/emotional development through our work in the classroom, in small groups and individually with students. We partner with families, teachers, administrators & support staff to help each student reach their goals.

Academics
End of 1st Semester
With the grading extension given to teachers for 1st Semester, teachers will be finalizing grades by Feb. 4. Final grades will be viewable the week of Feb. 7 through StudentVUE & ParentVUE. 1st semester grades are posted to student transcripts. If you or your student have questions about credit recovery options, please connect with your school counselor.

Tutoring hours are between 3:30 - 5 PM Mon, Wed & Thurs in the Library
Night School Registration
Students needing to credit recover a class or who are interested in improving their GPA should connect with their counselor to sign up.
Classes are free & occur 1 evening/week for each class, 5-8pm.
Classes will run from Feb. 22 - May 26.

FAFSA/ORSAA Completion
50% of Seniors have completed their FAFSA/ORSAA!
Our goal is to have 75% of graduating seniors complete. This application is how students get $$ to pay for any further education or training after high school. Students still needing to complete their application should connect with our College Coordinator Darryl Kelley (rm 227) for assistance.

PCC Future Connect
Future Connect is a scholarship & support program for students who identify as first-generation or low-income. They focus on eliminating barriers to college, and provide students with on-going support throughout their time at PCC.
Through scholarship money, career guidance & personalized advising, Future Connect helps students build pathways to their futures.
Priority deadline for application is March 1, 2022

Atsuhiko Tateuchi Memorial Scholarship - $5000, renwable, Deadline March 1
- students of Japanese ancestry or other Asian ancestry w/ financial need
- Graduating African American Senior, minimum GPA 3.0
Education First Scholarship - $5500 + college coach, Deadline March 18
- Targeted support for students who have overcome significant obstacles
