IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS
Summer Reading Assignment Reminder - Grades 6-12
Studies show that students who have summer rich with reading are more likely to beat the summer slide and prevent a drastic loss in their reading skills.
BCS requires all students in lower and upper grades to read at least four books during the summer.
We recommend that students select at least two books to read from the summer reading list on the BCS library page here. Students may select at least two other books from titles of their choosing.
Students in Grades 6-8 must complete a book log as part of the the BCS Summer Reading Plan Assignment. Click on the the link here for the assignment and recommended reading lists.
Grade 9 & 10 Big History Summer Assignment
In addition to at least two books from the summer reading list on the BCS library page here, please make sure you read at least one book from the Big History summer reading list.
Grade 9 Math Summer Assignment
Please complete Part 1 and 2 of your summer math assignment, posted on the website here.

Box Tops for Education
BCS participates in the Box Tops for Education program. This program provides schools with a way to raise funds by turning in cut-out box tops from specially marked General Mills products.
Each collected box top can be redeemed for ten cents. Please collect your box tops and submit them to Tracey in Rm 410 when school begins.
