Return to In-Person Learning
We are excited to return to in-person learning next week on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. Students who were in-person hybrid learning the week prior to Thanksgiving (week of November 16th) will continue with in-person hybrid learning on January 19, 2021. All parents will receive a remind message Thursday, January 14 with the session and selection. Bus arrangements will also resume. All other students will continue with remote learning at home.
If you would like to change the status of your child’s learning model or need to adjust bussing arrangements, please contact our school office.
International Travel
As we prepare for hybrid students to return back to school beginning on Tuesday, January 19, we would like to remind families regarding our safety protocol for international travel. For students who have traveled outside the country over winter break or plan on traveling, the student must quarantine for 14 days beginning the day after the student arrived back to the United States BEFORE they can attend school in person. This precaution is done to ensure the safety of all of our students and staff. This guidance also follows the CDC guidance regarding COVID-19. If you have any questions, please contact the office.
Hybrid Model Expectations
The ASD4 Board of Education voted to approve an updated Return to In-Person Learning Plan. The presentation slides and the plan document are attached for your review. The focus of this plan continues to be for our students to safely return to in-person learning.
Please review the In-Person Learning Plan and contact your child’s school principal if you have any questions. We will communicate final timelines for students to return no later than October 12, 2020.
