Getting Started with Imagine Learning Language + Literacy

Welcome

Imagine Learning and The School District of Martin County's Title I department will be working together to support the language needs of many of the district's ELL students. I look forward to working closely with you to ensure that you have a successful implementation. You will receive Smores, your personalized newsletter, throughout the year with important implementation information, contest details, tutorials for teachers, and much more.

Accessing Imagine Language + Literacy

Student User Criteria and Usage Recommendations


Student User Criteria

Imagine Learning Language + Literacy access is available to active LY students that are NES or LES with an Access 2.0 Overall Composite of 2.9 or lower. If there is no Access 2.0 Overall Composite score: students with an IPT score of 1 or 3 will be granted access. Only students fitting this criterion will have program access.


* New students to the district must be tested and ELL level entered into Focus before an Imagine Learning account is created. Once the ELL level is updated, it can take 24-48 hours for the ClassLink sync to create an Imagine Learning account.


Usage Recommendations

Grades: K-2 (20-minute sessions- minimum 3x a week)

Weekly Usage Goal: 60 minutes

Grades: 3-12 (30-minute sessions- minimum 3x a week)

Weekly Usage Goal: 90 minutes

Teacher and Student Login

TEACHERS

Setting up your Imagine Learning Single Sign-On for the First Time


1) https://my.imaginelearning.com/login/password/forgot

2) Enter your district email address.

3) Open the email with password reset instruction and follow those instructions.

4) Once your password has been reset, open ClassLink and log-in.

5) Click the ‘+’ at the top of your screen.

6) Click on ‘Martin County SD Library’.

7) Go to the 2nd page of results, click ‘Add’ below the Imagine Learning (Teachers) button.

Tip: hover over the name to see the full name of an app.

8) Go back to your ClassLink dashboard and refresh.

9) Click on the Imagine Learning (Teacher) button.

10) Enter the new password you just created into the Password field.

11) Allow ClassLink to make the magic happen, and you will be brought into your account.

12) Only the Imagine Language and Literacy tile will be used this year. The benchmark assessments are in Imagine Language and Literacy, not Galileo.

1) Sign into ClassLink.

2) Click on ‘Imagine Learning (Teacher).

3) Wait patiently as ClassLink works its magic.



STUDENTS

Administrator Accounts

Individuals serving as Program Administrators for their school sites will need to complete the Imagine Learning Administrator Access Request form before an Imagine Language + Literacy admin account can be created.
