A season preview from Volleyball Coach Ryan Treese

Quick recap of last year …

Last year, we finished 21-4 KMAC champs, District Champs, and lost in 5 sets to CHCA in the regional semi (5th set 11-15). We return 8 girls that played in that game. Last year was our 3rd straight district final appearance also. We know that we are that close to making it down to Wright State for the final 4.

What are our expectations for this year?

Very high to start, win KMAC, win the district and make the final 4. We have a tough non league schedule with the chance to play 5 division one schools. Big walnut, Pickerington North are guaranteed matches. Some players to watch: Lily Clark Pin hitter and Madison Linkous she has stepped up her back row play and a weapon attacking out of the back row. A few of our younger players showing promise that could see some action by the end of the year are Sophomores Rylee Donkin (DS) and Madison Caulkins (MH 6’1”).

Cardington Golf is off to a great start!
